One might assume that chefs forgo reading novels in favor of combing through cookbooks. British celebrity chef Nigella Lawson, however, proves this theory wrong as the BookVibe paparazzi recently caught her tweeting out a “random reading recommendation.” The book she recommended? Ruth Ozeki’s A Tale for the Time Being. Ozeki’s work of fiction has been popular among celebrities, as the New York Knicks’ president Phil Jackson tweeted about reading the novel in December.
However, Lawson was sure to also recommend a food-related book—Ozeki’s debut novel, My Year of Meats, which details a shady meat exportation business.
